From the desk of George

I started playing organized darts in October of 1978 and have played continuously since then, at the end of this season it will have been
30 years and my last. For most of the 30 years I had my hand in running the league or haved helped in sum capacity, I am tired and it is time to let it go. I have heard for a few people around the league say that if I go so will the league, I strongly hope that is not the case. If there is someone who wants to step foward, I will assist them in anyway I can.
I would like to thank Dave Johnson who has taken the way we used to do things with standings & communications and brought it all to the 21st century, he has done a great job creating the website, email lists and the secretaries job allot easier. He has done this job for awhile and I am
sure it is getting tiring to him.
Kris Koiva has not only run the league for a while but he has been my go to person when we needed to figure things out,. He has also helped in organizing the year end shootouts and I thank him for all his help.
Over 30 years I have met allot of people most have been great, some maybe not as great, but to all of you who are still around, thank you
for the laughs and the competition, I will truly miss that.
Finally to all my teammates past and present, we always played to win, but we made sure we had some laughs first, that, I will always be proud of and miss. So we will see you around everybody, it just won't be around a dart board. It has been an honor and a privelidge to have done what I could for darts over the past three decades.
